| last night was beyond a joke. The worst thing is full time refs. They have 80 mins to justify their livelihood and make the most of there moment in the sun.

| I very rarely criticize referees but I could hardly believe what I was watching yesterday. The first two penalties (the supposed high shot by Morley and the imagined interference on Hodgson) were just ludicrous, never penalties by (I would have presumed) anybody's yardstick. Like a lot of people, I stopped watching very early because of that but on a positive note, I have to say that Riley's finish for his first try was cracking, a proper winger's finish.

| I'll not take anything away from wire who played well but giants might have scored a few more points if the game had been allowed to flow.

| Quote The Biff is Back!="The Biff is Back!"To the people that complain about the high tackle decisions, yes they are wrong, the player slipped. But in our game with Hudds earlier in the season Mcgilvary slipped, morley hit him like brough hit hodgson last night, and not only was a penalty given, he was put on report and faced the beak iirc. The decision is wrong, but it's gone both ways now and like everything in sport, it's evened itself up.'"
Things don't even themselves up in sport. Of course we can all select forward passes that our team and the opposition have got away with but things definitely do not even themselves up. The laws of probability only occur with things like tossing coins and selecting cards. They always 'almost' even up. If you toss a coin 500 times the result will probably be 260 to 240 but not 250 each.

Not going to argue semantics with you. but you have said what i have, just that they will not even up to 50/50 more 49/51. I don't even know why you wasted your time.

| There have been some poor Friday night games which I have sat through but last night was the first time that I decided enough was enough. Turned over at half time and didn't bother putting it back on. No complaints about Wire but the(how can you describe him without swearing) in the middle was a disgrace

| That game was so poor because of ganson we switched off at half time. No problem with wire winning or hudds getting walloped but that was just dire because ganson killed the contest.

| As a 'neutral' in the 'away' end last night, I totally concur with the majority of the postings here. Ganson 'killed' the game off in the first 15 minutes. Yes Wire played well and were going to win ... but Ganson was strutting around like a peacock ... and looked like he was trying to gain respect of the players by the use of the whistle and not through 'on pitch presence'
Either all the Ref's have been told to re-interpret the rules in the manner Ganson did .... or he really is a %$&*($
.. and credit to the Huddrsfield fans who did there best to cheer Ganson up by singing at him most of the game ... priceless !
