When Maurice sold me to Leeds something changed, it just not the same, the passion inside me just wasn’t the same as running out at Central park for my hometown club.
We need a change of culture here; we don’t want to be just happy with playing ok on Saturday at St Helens.
Ill make sure that from now on things will change, that players will be under pressure and will train a lot harder than they have before.

I've been arguing that for a while now. I'm sure Wane will make a top class head coach but i don't think he has had long enough as an assistant. However IL has never rushed into anything and has always done his research. I trust he will make the right decision for Wigan. |

But how long would be long enough? If he isn't given a chance we'll never know if he's got it or not, but I think he now deserves that chance given he has coached multiple academy grand final winning teams and has been assistant during the recent success of the first team. |

I was watching a video a few weeks ago regarding NFL players who have suffered many knocks to the head and analysing the players brains after repeatably being knocked out/concussed... sure does make you think about the mental problems side of things... IMO its one of the last known taboos since the acceptance of homosexuallity... mental health awareness is much needed is society... well done the RFL for this initiative. |
