years ago all the women had their knitting needles out making cherry and white rag dolls.
we went to the north western station on the friday to wave the team off.....some of who had come straight from work

I remember when they got to the Milk Cup final in 2006, the Asda on Robin park had flags in their window in support of them, plus that sign at North Western Station where we get a cursory mention hacks me off every time I see it, so stuff em!

They lived on my mum's street, she recognises them but can only remember one of their names. I'm not sure how she recognises the one with Wigan RL on her botty though....

The wierd thing about seeing pictures of girls from around 1985 is they all look waaaay older than they were. I bet most of them are mid- late twenties there, but they favver late thirties, early forties!!
