Definately of the opinion that Morgan has run his course at Rovers, however I dont think he is a poor coach, in fact, i think he is a very good coach, and like has been said before he has squeezed every ounce out of our current squad. I think he would keep Wigan at your current level which to be fair there isn't much higher you can get. I think in the long run, this could be a good move for both of our clubs.

Absolute cobblers IMO. Let's look at the facts:

1. The OP has given no source whatsoever.

2. According to IL, over half the current SL coaches have applied for the job, of which I have no doubt that Morgan is one.

3. IL has also stated on more than one occasion that Wane is the favourite for the job. Seen as he is the one who makes that decision, that basically says to me "Wane's the guy we want, but we're not going public until we've dotted the i's and crossed the t's"

I can't see past Wane getting the job. The way Lenegan has responded to the question of who our next coach will be says it all for me, when asked that during coverage of the Bradford cup match the way he responded (imo) all but said Wane would get the job. I think, presuming Wane wants it, that he has earned the right to be the Head coach, by working his way up and consistently being successful. Morgan is a good coach, but to me his appointment would seem a strange one, I don't think he could improve (or at least prevent a downturn in) the way we play, and imo were he to get the job it would be a step back from the setup we have now. Saying that we can't be sure that Wane would be successful, but I think he deserves the chance. Only IL knows though!

Any coach that was a willing party to signing Willie Mason aint good enough IMO

Morgan is a decent coach, thats it. He's done a prety decent job at Hull KR but hasnt really taken them forward in the last couple of seasons, not Wigan quality at all and it would be a massive step backwards IMO.
