He is much quicker than he gets credit for IMO. Nobody usually gets near him when he gets in open space. Look what he did against St George. |

I'm normally against signing / re-signing players of Carmonts age, but in this case I'll make an exception if it is true.
As we all know planning is put in place two or three years ahead, and nobody foresaw the Gleeson saga. To leave us with two "rookie" centres next year would be high risk, and it's one position that seems lacking in RL generally.
Another Georgie year would allow us to re-evaluate the talent from within the club and if necessary look for outside availability. |

 Hope you're right; as Rogues said, no-one could foresee the Gleeson issue so if George is happy to put in one more year (and on form, why not) then that's fantastic news as it gives us continuity and time to bed in our Right Centre (Joel or whoever) for a year. |
