Next season is fascinating. We have easily the best strength in depth in the forwards of any team in the SL era, the best coach (and a great assistant coach) in SL and a player in Sam Tomkins who would be the first name on the teamsheet of any team in SL.

I do have some concerns though - overconfidence (Saints, Leeds and Wire will be redoubling their efforts and we'll be back to the days when every Wigan away game against smaller clubs is almost that club's cup final so we'll need to be focussed and superbly fit like in the 2010 season) and the interruption to the 2011 season caused by the WCC being two primary issues. I'm also worried about whether we can keep all those good forwards happy.

That said, I'd be very disappointed if we don't finish top simply because with such a powerful squad and such a great coach it would be Wigan that lost the league leaders' shield rather than someone else winning it.

The off season will be key too - just how tough will Madge and Wane be this year?

If Leeds do finish above both the Wolfs and Saints they'll have done very well IMO.

I can see Wigan winning it quite easily to be honest. Massively better at both halfback and in the pack. Brett Hodgson will be a great addition for us and hopefully we'll see us start to reap the benefits of our improved youth set-u under John Bastian.

I've no problem with peoples predictions on Leeds next season as we have it all to do. But for someone to say Saints have a good chairman but GH hasn't a clue is quite unbelieveable after the success Leeds have had not only on the field but off it too.

Think it will be very close at the top but purely on biased terms ill put Wire top Will be expecting the top 8 to feature the same teams as last year except 8th place. Im expecting a big season from Salford.

I hope us fans are not over confident that every fan is predicting us finishing top i would like to finish top saints will be stronger (on paper) and not sure about wire with bringing in brett hodgson in but will be inside the top 3 surprise team next year could well be salford will be a good bet to make the 8.
