Games as big as Grand Finals define individuals and clubs. Remember, we only rent these journeys. In my time I had Pat Richard's shirt. Ellery Hanley had Sean O'Loughlin's jersey. Sam Tomkins is wearing Radders' number one jersey. Andy Coley is wearing Shaun Wayne's jersey. You have to make a mark in these shirts before you hand it down to someone else. Hand it back. So be aware for 80 minutes that you are not only playing, but you are also writing history and creating legacy. How many people actually write history - not many? Actually looking at that squad again I only count four out-and-out props (Fielden, Coley, Prescott, Davies) and if Fielden is carrying a knock maybe Davies will get a hit out after all

Nothing official - he's still available for the rest of the year but has already been told he won't be retained for next season.
I still think he's a great player though who has horrendous luck this year. If he stays over here, he'll do very well for any Super League club. Saints fans may laugh at this but I think he'd be good for them as a long term replacement for Paul Wellens. |

I still can't quite understand why he's been overlooked to such an extent. Despite the fact that our outside backs have been on fire this year, I still think Phelps could have a part to play this season. |

Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good
