What a load of drivel. Somebody who gets off their behind and goes to the match and supports his/her team will always get more respect than an armchair fan and rightly so. Players thrive on good support not people sat at home in their rocking chairs.

I shall be going to games when I want to again whenever Leeds are a good or a bad team at the time.

What MattyB has is a mob mentality where you associate yourselves with likeminded fans who think the only support worth respecting is physical attendance at a game.

I can picture him and his mob popping round to an old peoples retirement complex full of Wigan fans who can no longer make it to a game. Shaming them all till their last breath on the deathbed all because they listen to the games on the radio.

Also watching it on sky puts nowhere near as much into the game as paying for a seat, £20 ticket or maybe 1p max to each club for every armchair supporter

Full stadiums also have a good impression on new supporters, and makes the atmosphere better for the people watching from the stands

Good result, awful game. I would like to see us using dummy runners and players running from deep like we saw at the start of the season. We were back to the Noble style tonight, flat, clueless and predictable. If we play like that next Friday we won't win.

When you start buying a season ticket for yourself, wife and two kids in addition to spending money in the club bar - food & drink, programme, golden gamble tickets, fans forums, attend most away matches..................then come back and have a go. Until then toodlepip!

The reason why I don’t go to matches anymore is because my Great Granddad was a pilot during world war two that was all about fighting for freedom of choice.

Why don’t you form a rugby league saviour group where you pay £20 to get in and 1p to keep sky away from the stadium. Add a couple of more pennies to keep radio listeners from listening in as well.
