I started off in favour of the event, but that was with the view of laying a platform for a Welsh club. Now I really can't see the point.

I agree that it probably should be binned off. The fans have days out/weekends at Wembley, Old Trafford, Celtic, Quins and Catalans to fork out for nowadays and this is an expense too far for many.
If they do decide to keep it going though they have to move to smaller grounds. It's an awful atmosphere having people rattling round in these huge grounds. |

As a TV spectacle they will be good games I think but in terms of excitement of going to it - well Huddersfield is one of the teams that least excites.
I was hoping for Leeds or Warrington (but we couldn't draw the latter).

Having spoken to a few people this morning I already know of five people who've been each year that won't be going to Edinburgh in 2010.
I agree with many others that this could and should bring about the end of the Magic weekend. |

I just can't imagine the Bouncy Song happening if we beat Shuddersfield.
So whatever happens, it just won't compare to this last season.
I'll be going anyway, just because I hate to miss matches, but it certainly won't have the pull of a Saints/Leeds/even Warrington match.
As much as I've always supported it, I also think that this could e the end of the experiment.

It was decided after the consultation last year to have four games on Day 1. Most of the feedback asked for that I remember they said. The Sunday session ended at 9pm last year - the idea I think is to finish earlier on Sunday meaning fans won't be getting home very late. Whether Sky have other ideas we shall see.
