A reasonably good squad, not sure about carrying on with Roby though, he doesn't look the same player he was a couple of seasons ago, hopefully we'll get quicker ptbs for him in this game, that's when he's dangerous.

I'd agree with that. The uncannily accurate distribution below head height and lightning pace would be an ideal asset in this pivitol role.

On the wire Board I posted that Fox was my main worry in That combo...
Bridge is definitely physcally Strong enough to defend against the NZ centres (as is Fox to be Fair) but I just think one could easily get pulled out of position and leave the other flapping....
But whatever your (wigan Fans) views on Warrington players in the England squad which is mainly negative, Bridge adds an attacking option out wide that no other player in the squad has....His footwork could, and given the right ball, should leave the big kiwis grasping at air.....

Don't lump everyone together, I'm happy with Bridge's inclusion. He's been picked in his best position and is young enough to develop as an England regular. On top of this he's done plenty of game time at 6 so adds some organisation to the skillful but inexperienced halfbacks. He can also kick goals when Sinfields off. Much better option than Lee Smith. |

Funnily enough though every expert on the boards was naming McGuire at 6 at the start of the tournament as he was one of the few players who didn't disgrace himself at the WC. And with regard to the backs, he can only pick whose available. The 3/4 line is representative of the English players in SL, you could pick other players but would pretty much be swapping like for like.
