| It's an over reaction from both sides in regards to a popular Leeds player.
That's it.

Don't worry, Dave. He doesn't. He's doing what the guilty always do - looking to spread the blame elsewhere. That plus he's crapping himself.

| Maguire is doing the best thing staying out of it. The Leeds club have got an awful lot to say for themselves and thats fine. I hope they wind themselves up all week and take their eye off the ball because i'm sure our coaching staff will have us fully focussed.
Roll on Saturday.

Couldn't agree more. Nice to see the Club acting in a dignified manner about things.

We've done that all season really. Yes some of the comments from a section of our fans after the Leeds defeat weren't acceptable and Phil Clarke has thrown his 2p in but they aren't comments from within the club.
On the other hand we've heard from McClennan a couple of times, Sinfield, Peacock and numerous Leeds players on Twitter. The general attitude of the Leeds club over the past couple of years has been really poor. They're a great club with a great team and a big following(at home) but they've been letting themselves down in some of their antics.

You do realise that this thread is not being contributed by the Wigan club? Merely it's fan's opinions?
If anyone needs to do their talking on the pitch is the leeds club; who have bitched and whined all season long - but have really dialed it up a notch this week.
I am sure that it is not only Wigan fans that have lost respect for leeds

Bailey can also gain penalties too.
Opposition players sometimes get so wrapped up in trying to land a shot on him that they give penalties away or even get sent off with the Lee Radford incedent being a perfect example.
If we tackle him hard but controlled, he'll be the one that get's wound up....After a suitable protective wall of team mates is formed.

I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass, and I am all out of bubblegum.
Don't you struggle. Don't you fight. Don't you worry, cause it's your turn tonight!

According to the Guardian after the game against Leeds Thomas Leuluai went to the Leeds changing rooms to apologize for his behavior in reaction to the cheating from McGuire.
"Leuluai's subsequent visit to the Leeds dressing room to offer an apology does not seem to have appeased anyone in the champions' camp."
If true and Tommy did apologize I find it even more petty that Peacock and the Leeds club as a whole weren't big enough to accept Leuluai's apology, and continue to whine.

What by getting your no. 1 fan Clarke to speak on behalf of the club?
Leeds should maybe start letting Barry Mac release our statements then there's no comeback on the club!

Maybe they should. Because in mouthing off themselves, they look like prize pillocks. Wigan haven't and, therefore, don't.
PS: No-one will be fooled by you lot trying to claim that Clarke is some kind of secret Wigan employee. Just like no-one was fooled by McClennan's attempts to blame the Wigan players for McGuire's self-inflicted injury.

6 years ago when Leeds won the Grand Final I remember saying to a lovely couple from Leeds I was glad they had won; they were the best side and played the best rugby.
What a long, long way they've come in that time. They've been superb for most of that time and won it a few times more but their standing as a respected team has fallen massively - seemingly since McLennan took the top job. Now it's dirty play, moaning and arguing with the officials, and bickering and bitching in the press, on Twitter and anywhere anyone will listen. Not that they give two shts about my opinion, but I'm increasingly hearing this view from fans of all clubs.
So Tommy had the balls and grace to apologise for his anger in the heat of the moment in front of a victorious Leeds squad, yet McLennan hasn't been man enough to apologise for accusing the Wigan squad of carrying out some form of ligament assassination while McGuire lay on the ground?
Meanwhile the Wigan club sit silent and dignified, preparing for a huge game and not distracted by the catfight, regardless of what a FORMER employee and press pundit has said.

Which is, despite what JP and subsequently McLennan have said is the most cowardly and deceptive thing that has been said all along.
Leeds are rattled and doing all they can to mask the fact that their beloved Danny is a cheat and they are a little nervous about Saturday.

I'd say they're more than a little bit nervous - when's the last time we've seen such a tirade from Leeds in the media before a Semi Final?
