I want a strong, thriving Saints team.

Not because I have any like for them, but I love Rugby League with a passion.

This sport is the best in the land and desperately needs to grow. Having a floundering Saints team is not good.

most of the teams in the Sl and the second tier can claim to have an honourable history
saints are no more important to the future of RL than Hull, Keighley, Oldham, Bradford, Halifax, Wakefield ....
RL needs more team sof a better standard WHOEVER they are.
not even Wigan can claim to be more important than any other team !

Sheffield away

It's more fun beating Saints when they've got a good side. As for the health of RL we need 10 strong clubs and sides. At the moment we have 3. We need the likes of Saints, Hull, Catalans and Bradford to step up their efforts and for the smaller clubs to decide whether there is any point in the playing in SL and either shape up or ship out. The competition badly needs a strong London club on and off the field and a financially viable and competitive Toulouse. Both I think are more important for the future of the game as a whole than even Wigan and Leeds.

Ha, Well if they are headed there then they had better change all their avatars about the 75-0 scoreline because this lot we have in our current squad would rack up 100 points on the 2005 team.

Rugby League moves in cycles and we are in the good repetition at the moment whilst Stains are flagging.

I agree with that. If the Bronco's had a strong side the BBC and Sky might just take more notice.

long shot, but they are 4-0 up vs Giants at HT

Part of me wants us to get a huge tie against Leeds or Wire whilst we're in this form because our form at the start of last year was wasted by the time the big games come round.

If we get one of those two then great but otherwise a championship side away will do.

Wigan v Warrington, Sat 11th May, 17.15 k.o., give me something to do that day.

Just hope we don't get a champion side or any other side than Leeds/Warrington at home.

I'm going for either Widnes or Huddersfield away!
