I don't swear at games so I don't have a problem. But I'm not so sensitive to swear words, anyone who is shouldn't go to a sports game like rugby or football. If you don't want to hear swearing I suggest you start watching tennis or something, don't think I've ever been to a match and not heard the occasional eff or e or whatever at the end of the day they are just words and don't hurt anybody, can't see what the fuss is all about myself. I suppose Wgan are top of the table and in the semis of the cup and Wiganers have to find something to moan about or what else would we do!

What i am trying to get at is effing and blinding in conversation around old people, young children or women isn't a good thing and i consciously try to refrain from it. however the occasional song at a game is just a bit of banter at the end of the day. Thats why rugby fans can drink in the pub and have a laugh and a joke with each other. If the banter and the atmosphere goes what to we have? A posh playing field with 26 blokes chasing an inflated egg.

Mmmmm all I will say is, it's a good job you don't sit near me during a game.

What a fantastic attitude. "We're going to behave how we want and if you don't like it then YOU don't attend." Classy, real classy. How about if a person cannot behave in a way that is appropriate for a family setting then THEY don't come.

I understand both sides of the argument but in this case this chant isnt bad enough to warrant this outcry.

my 7 yo daughter understands there are nasty words people use and she understands she shouldnt use them. issue dealt with really.

There are some good clean ones, to be fair they are usually the better ones.

No problem with that. I was sat next to the Saints fans and actually enjoyed the banter more than the game.

You don't need to use bad language to have banter.

As a sport we cannot afford to alienate fans. I stopped taking my kids to watch Everton due to the bad language.

I personally loved the saints 'Its always your year song' proper made me laugh, if you cant take a joke you're doomed
