The reserves, like others have also said, would have shown more passion than the seniors today. There is a reason our reserves lost by one point to Leigh's first team and that's cause they've got everything to prove, regardless of the opposition they know they've gotta prove thier worth. That doesn't count for the seniors. Many knew today that thier talent and fitness would see them through.

Now I'm actually sick of people talking us down week after week. We played badly, they played at a level they could only dream about and yet we got the job done.

Sheff may have been a scare but they wouldn't have beat us.

Ok priestman I will have to explain to you. You obviously dont understand that what the reserves could do doesn't prove anything because it's was a full 1st team he played, secondly Ocarroll aganist St's you stated, gave 3pens away, I watched it again and the only pen he gave away was when Graham tackled him and the ref assumed he had knocked on, he didn't. However I would like to say, I think you have made 3 mistakes with the remark about ocarroll, 1, you dont understand the game, 2, you dont know the rules, 3, you obviously dont know who ocarroll is. Like yoursel I am entitled to pass comments, but your comments seem to be very negative each week, thats your privilage, but I do wonder if your a Wigan fan, no need for a reply, lets just support our team, oops, do we share the same passion? Are you O'Carrolls brother or something? All your posts seem to be about him. You've nominated him for the MOM three times this season and seeing he's an average player at best it probably means you know him.

As for the rest I'm not even going to bother with it. All I'll say is thank god the kids have gone back to school after Easter.

Don't be ridiculous. Take a look at the MOM vote. Sam aside it's mainly the fringe players who played well. Feka and Farrell in particular. The ones who played particularly badly include Joel Tomkins who many of us were saying was due a rest and was looking jaded at Salford last week. Not really rocket science to see how some of us felt we'd be better served playing some of our fringe players. For example, a fired up Sean Ainscough with a point to prove may well have had a stormer. Not unlike a certain Richie Barnett for example! You get it now?

Yesterdays score was down to a lack of application from us rather than talent.

We all know what our seniors can do when they switch it on. When they switch their game heads on we get quality, top draw performances like we saw vs Hull FC or Catalan. Now i don't know if people like the tool above think Sheff are better than the above mentioned teams or that they just are a little slow but either way the score like shows we weren't interested. 44-10 up and then we switch off suggests IMO we had the talent to slaughter them but we just couldn't be bothered.

The reserves or back up players like Feka, Vievers or Ainscough would have also had the talent but they would have put a lot more effort in as well.

Can't see why some can't grasp that? Again maybe they are slow?

I see Barrow are 12 - 6 up after 30 minutes play, and Catalans cruised to victory 30 - 8 against Salford.
