| This is a real test for MM & SW.
How they get the team prepared for and how they play v Hull will show us the calibre of our new coaching staff.
If ever the team and the coaching staff need to realise it's an 80 minute game then it's now.
I'm sure they will have a lot to say and do this coming week.

They'll have us right for next week i'm sure.
It still may not actually be enough because Hull look a good side but we won't get complacent like tonight at any point and thats all you can ask for really.

| Over confidence was clearly a big factor, 78-0 we were up after 1.5 games, the players god carried away and it cost them.
Im not bothered as such that we lost, that was always going to happen, its the manner of the defeat thats left me deflated.
We need to respond on Friday so that the excellent start we made isnt lost.

Starting at half time at Wire to half time last night we had scored 96 points and conceded 4 in the last 2 games!!!! No wonder we got complacent!!!!

I think we will be in the mix, too early to tell.
Maybe a few astute signings from Maguire in the next couple of seasons together with our youngsters coming through may take us to new heights.
I'm certainly hopeful.

40mins worth of poor rugby have defalted some people beyond belief in the same way that 4 and a half good games made alot of people go way overboard.
The facts are we're a good side and we'll win more games then we lose but as I said last week i'd still be happy with a top 4 place at the end of the season. Any talk of walking through this season and sweeping all before us was silly as is any talk of us being a poor side now.
That defeat last night should enable all Wigan fans to find a nice balance of where we're at.

I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass, and I am all out of bubblegum.
Don't you struggle. Don't you fight. Don't you worry, cause it's your turn tonight!

I'm as disappointed as any that we lost last night, but out of 10 half's of rugby played, we've played badly once maybe twice and we got burned for it.
I'm with Nick, one bad half won't change my perception that the Wigan club as a whole is heading in the right direction, we look fiter, are style of play is better and in general the club is on the up.
Although I woke up a little miserable this morning my thoughts are now past the Bradford game and are focused on Hull FC and maintaining are 100% record at home, if we continue to do the good things in are game we'll be there or there abouts in all comps.
Last night we just switched off that's all nothing more, and I firmly believe that.

Spot on
Top 4 should be our aim, and a 80% win ratio will probably get us third or fourth spot, something which i will be happy with
I think the defeat will give the players a reality check, and i think we are very capable of beating hull on our own patch which will give us 5 out of 6

An 80% win ratio would probably get us top spot imo because the league is so tight but I don't really expect that.
If we lose around 7 or 8 games we'll be top 3 and thats a realistic ambition imo. We need to keep the form at home going and and try and improve our ball control, discipline and attitude(going simply on the 2nd half last night) away from home.
It's still happy days at the moment imo.

Were definatly a good side but were far from brilliant, theres Leeds Saints Wire Us Huddersfield who i think will be the top 5 in any order who knows, then Bradford, Hull KR, Hull FC, Cas and Wakey who can beat anyone on theyre day. Going to be the most competitive SL yet IMO. Great for the game of rugby League. I agree with how people go from 1 extreme to the other. We went from going unbeaten all year to going to finish 7th with a decent cup run within 40 mins

Thats the way it is with some Wigan fans and always have been.
If we win on Friday against Hull the Treble will be back on and some will be discussing where we should play the World Club Challenge next season.
If we lose we may aswell pack up for the season and start planning for 2011.

The bit in bold is why I think our win over Warrington will be crucial come the end of the season.
