| Agree with all the plaudits for Prescott, Gleeson, O'Loughlin and Fielden tonight.
I also thought our kicking game was a huge improvement on previous weeks - I know Sam's 40-20 caught the eye, but Tommy's kicking was bang on throughout.

| I thought Lockers, PP and Gleeson were superb closely followed by Pat and Sam, Fielden was improved but i do feel his weekly errors will cost us big in either the upcoming Semi or the GF and i was dissapointed with Riddel as his distribution was poor and we looked better with MM on.

Think you'll find a few 'errors' from several players, were actually the opposition hand pushing the ball out, happened to Lockers as well.
Stu had a really good game, ran the ball in well, and was great in defence.
Also think you're being unfair to Riddell, but we all have our own takes on the game

| It was great to see the team spirit on display tonight, which resulted in a very good team performance.
As previously posted, Gleeson was immense tonight, with other outstanding displays from Prescott and Lockers.
Sam and Tommy get better together by the match.
We've got a good chance of getting to OT.

| We've looked a much better team the last two weeks when Fielden was on the pitch. Gleeson's played his two best games for us the last two weeks as well.
However some of our passing from dummy half was amateur at best - Piggy was the worst culprit. At one point I thought Mickey Higham was playing for us again.
More to come especially when we sort out the dummy half passing and silly obstruction penalties.

Yeah, a lot of errors are caused by opposition players applying pressure to the ball carrying arm but the majority of Fieldens errors are basic ones like dropping the ball when coming in for a drive or dropping the ball at the play the ball which he does quite often to be fair and it often ruins the good drive he has just put in.
Riddell has been a dissapointment for me as i have watched the NRL quite a lot over the past ten years and although he is no Smith or Buderous he can be a lot better player than he has showed us so far, his head doesnt seem to be in the game and his sometimes wayward passes and bad decision making seem to confirm this but hopefully with an off season here he will begin to show the form he has previously.

Stuff the off season. If Noble is going to play him which he obviously will then given where we are now and the opportunity that has presented itself he's got to buck up now. If he carries on with the wayward passes and seemingly isn't on the same planet as the rest of the 17 given we are only 80 mins away form a final he can stay back in OZ for 2010 and 2011 if he carries on like this.

In prescott i thin we have the best young prop in the game. Him and graham will reperesent GB for years to come. bring on next week.'"
Read the first post, i have to agree except to say Fielden was awesome first half gash the second.

I raised the point prior to the game today about how we were fortunate against Cas to get away with obstruction so many times. We got pulled twice tonight and could have copped a few more. I fear it could yet be our downfall if we don't sort it out.

| Prescott is maturing so much due to him playing regular games. We've seen snippets of him int he past but an injury has always been around the corner and held his career back. He's played his best run of games this year and is looking a top draw player at the moment.
Outstanding efforts from him, Lockers, Fielden, Feka and Hansen i thought tonight.
Hansen came back from his injury and was dancing about at the end so he'll be fine for next week.

I reckon O'Carroll will mature loads too if we give him game time next year, he was playing really well early in the season.

Not a Bad6th choice prop but not good enough for a starting/Bench x 4 place.
If he wants to play regularly he needs to move on.
If we want to win things then we need 4/5 better props than him.
We have Mossop as 5th choice now along with Davies in the next 12 months or so.

| stuart fielden turned in a vintage prop forwards display last night, he was bouncing off tackles left, right and centre and had that venom in his running again, in defence he put some scorching shots on. The first tackle he made he absolutely murdered vella. If we are going to get to the grand final we are going to need another performance from fielden next week.

O'Carroll wil lstruggle to crack the first 17 next year but i do really like him. I think a loan spell at a superleague club would do him huge favours because he'd get to play on a weekly basis which is what he needs.
Long term i'd like to see us keep him and keep looking at his progress because i believe he'll really develope late in his career as he puts on some natural bulk.
