He said in the interview he's grown up and supported Wigan since he was 8 I think. I moved to Wigan about the same time and after going to primary + Highschool I'd class Wigan as my hometown. |

Oh yeah i remember that. Did he get a ban for it? Probably not, he gets away with everything, its about time the RFL grew some balls.
I hope the academy lads go to the police after the attack yesterday.
Once his rugby career is over he is just going to be a scumbag on the streets with no other skills in life. |

OHHH you can imagine it on Tuesday in front of the disciplinary panel.
Disciplinary Officer - Mr Maguire any mitigating circumstances of why Mr Tomkins made the gesture which he is been accused of.
Maguire - He used to support Warrington.
Disciplinary Officer - Stop we have heard enough. Our Decision. Guilty but we will ban Matt King for 6 matches due to the Warrington like behaviour.

Sam Tonkins is disliked because he has class and skill. Putting on an england shirt, should get him praise, or encouragement. If the 2 finger salute was his signature then I would say, "you deserve all you get" but it isn't and he doesn't. The leeds team completely illustrated what bad loseres they really are, they tried to steal the moment of celebration by trying to kick off, and they failed miserably, they couldn't even do that. Now THAT IS unprofessional. What a disgrace to the game, nevermind the day.
Great win Wigan, next time Sam, blow them a kiss, it'll p--s them off as much, but the RL wont do a thing about it.

Better still, concentrate on your game, forget about winding the crowd up - it had worked pretty well for him up to now.
Let's not have a player giving the odd mouthbreather in the crowd a 'reason' to hurl bottles / coins on the pitch or kick off with a rival speccie. |

Only just read that Wigan have fined him and issued an apology to Leeds and their fans.
The correct thing to do not only because it's right but because it lessens the chances of a ban for Sam.
Now where's that apology by the Leeds club and it's fans for Sam over the shameful booing of him at the Exiles game........no thought not!
