| Great news, but where did all this stuff about double fractures come from?
Wish people wouldn't BS when it comes to serious injuries.

We've not had anything official yet, as far as I'm aware, so it might be advisable not to express too much relief.

Perhaps they want to make sure they're bang-on. Wigan are nothing if not thorough these days.

AHHH, it was him that I saw in Wigan today then. He was on crutches with his left shin in bandages.

I tell you what that fella likes his starbucks!! hes in there every day.
Perhaps we should bin the pre season and get the lads in there slurpping down Mega frapa-dappa-duper-chinos and we will walk it next year.
Great news all round
I felt sick yesterday after the injury happened.

Maybe they are waiting to get the full picture on more than just Amos. With Amos out for a prolonged period then the prospects for appearances from Phelps and Carmont while Roberts is missing have to be considered. If one or more is doubtful for a while in terms of being able to play regularly then you are looking at consideration of whether Charnley, Marsh or Vievers are ready to step in if needed or whether it would be best to recall Ainscough from Cas. It is then a matter of whether the number of likely appearances for Ainscough (if they had to consider recalling him) would be less than he will get at Cas. If he would be used only as cover and play much less if recalled then would it be better to leave him at Cas and risk using an untested lad to cover injuries/ loss of form.
Those to me are obvious considerations in the aftermath of Roberts' injury (there may be more) and to release one piece of information such as the length of time out for Roberts would only leave fans debating who would replace him and no doubt complaining (from some) about why we haven't been told what is being done to plug the gap in the team when that may still be being sorted out.

Don't start asking things like that, you will get the "when are we being informed about Hock" brigade going again

20333_1393344959.gif Current thoughts - Mago out or get running up them plantations, get fit or get rid.
Maybe a back up halfback, someone with a bit of experience on a short term deal.
Big tall strong running second rower, like a McMeekin or Sironen type back rower.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_20333.gif |

Hopefully it will be medial ligament damage and out for a month
My wishes have come true!

| Thank the maker, that has just made my day.
He could be back for Quins away - get in.
I was hoping to see him 'live' this year compared to him doing not much in London last (apart from the intercept that is).
