Any chance you could research what you had to eat/drink Good Friday and then have it again?
Whatever it was kept you away for a few weeks at least.

| I might be sentimental for the 'old days' of RL, even though i'm only 30, but every time i see Peacock play i wish that there were more like him in the league.
I loved that bit of biff tonight from a proper old school hard as nails prop. That's what our game needs players that can make the hard yards, have a decent amount of skill but won't stand for any BS

| Back on topic.
If there's any consistency then both Sarsfield and Peacock will be charged with a grade C offence (Rule – 15.1(a) Detail – Striking – Punching – sustained, repeated or violent Grade – C) the same that Flynn and Carney got charged with a couple of weeks ago.

Did sarsfield throw any punches though? Peacock certainly did and I agree he should be charged same as Flynn and Carney.

I think he threw a few, I don't know how many connected though.

| I am a paid up member of the old school,so the peacock scrap did not even register on my scale of punch ups.
Yes I know it's against the latest rules etc etc,but for me it should be yellow card end of story.
The same for the carney incident as well.
What does need severely punishing is the spear tackle, this has caused severe injuries to several players. Most recently the one in Australia.

Agree. However the RFL are not 'old school' so I expect both players to be charged. I'd rather an incident like that be dealt with the way Thaler did but it isn't the case anymore. The current rules mean JP should have walked. Leeds got lucky.

True. I think Beswick soon regretted going in to help his mate as well!

| the problem is less the rules though but the consistency of the application.
in some sense i dont give a monkey what the rule is, however what I DO want is a consistent interpretation of it.
this my dear giraffe is the nub of the issue. peacock is a great plyaer, and well respected. however he has time and again got away with behaviour which other players have been banned for.
the rfl appear to have certain players they ike and others that they victimise (out of this country in the case of Mozza)
the RFL are amateur from top to bottom and deserve a damn good kicking.

| Typical classless Wigan fans trying to get a player from peers banned, but see nothing wrong when their players do wrong. The Leigh player started it and peacock finished it nice bit of biff yellow cards sufficient.

| Not sure which is worse, someone throwing two or three punches two of which missed after being headbutted on the floor or someone making a head high tackle that could seriously cause damage to an opponent.
Let's hope the RL view both cases the same and JP gets off without a ban.
