L understand they are the same as the first team with quite a few teams playing the matches as curtain raisers to the corresponding Super League games (which is not something I personally like). Sheffield and Featherstone to replace Catalans and Salford at u19 level.
I think a season of 26 games plus play-offs is far too many for kids who may be as young as sixteen. You will need a massive squad to cope. I expect Wigan to pretty much walk the competition with, come the end of the season, even more mis-matches than the old system use to throw up. |
