It has been confirmed by a St Helens RLFC spokesman that the rumours are true and that two Wigan shirts have indeed been found hidden away in a 'dark and dusty area which is largely unused' within Langtree Park Stadium.

"We are looking to having the shirts removed from our trophy cabinet within the next few days", he added.

There is 100% two Wigan shirts buried underneath the St Helens pitch, numerous which have been plastered over in the main stand and a good few hidden in other area's around the stadium.

Whoever the main contractor was clearly didn't think about where the other contractors were being hired from - majority were from Wigan!

The S**t will help the grass grow, and its as close as Wigan will come to owning their own Stadium.

That's a bit harsh on Jamie Foster and we already own a stadium.

Oh its definately true.
I found a pair of old rugby boots and when I put them on I have the speed and strength of Boston, I found a pair of shoulder pads and I can tackle and knock off players like Andy Farrell I found a pair of Cunninghams shorts and when I put them on I feel like going to the chippy! But I get there quick and can knock other customers out the way.

A competition on the Wigan website for pics of supporters in far off places. Similar to the segment on soccer AM were service men send in pics from war torn destinations. Surely a pic of a fan during the construction of Langtree park would be worthy winner

I dont see how it bothers anyone, what difference does it make? But if Eammon is bothered, get the contractor to relay the pitch and sack the builders responsible, see how funny they find it then
