Just so we are clear where you are on this one; do you think the Dave Whelan Stadium is better than the KC Stadium?

As for "kakking" myself; I haven't even read the story but if it involves Lenegan buying Wigan Athletic then I'd suggest that Lenegan has already found his level in the world of football with Oxford United. After capital gains(?) tax the amount Lenegan cleared on this deal is a drop in the ocean compared to the money in premiership football.

Just for my information this business that Lenegan has just flogged was that Lenegan's main business interest? I thought he was also involved in some westish end productions as well?

He isn't buying Latics, so stop worrying.

As for the DW and the KC, they're both about the same in my book. But whatever I thinik, you are NOT qualified to speak for everyone else. Stop pretending you're the voice of the common man when in reality you're a troll constantly on fishing trips.

I'm happy to put up with the minor scheduling issues if it means enjoying the use of a top class stadium. I liked the Ferrari analogy; why put ourselves under financial strain for the nostalgia of having our own ground again. Let's be honest, if we hadn't moved to the dw, central park would still look exactly the same if not worse and we'd be no better off than the likes of cas or wakey imo.

Cheers, so the one he flogged was pretty much his sole current business interest.

Naw ... with a name like ours, someone would always have stepped in and bought us. That's the advantage of being one of the top clubs in the game.

i'm afraid i agree with the skinky one on his comment

my personal view is that the KC is currently the best stadium within the RL (even though it is like the DW and is a football stadium also)
The atmosphere at the KC is fantastic, due to the design, been there watching wigan and for internationals

Shame that Hull can't generate any atmosphere
i suppose at times we have the same problem at home. been several discussions over recent months /years about away being better atmosphere than at home
mainly down to everyone being together at away matches and spread over 3 stands at home
The DW on its day can match most stadiums, just dont think its bouncing often enough
