| I thought this was a rugby league forum? It's inevitable that people are going to discuss a players' strengths and weaknesses.

Don’t be Facetious, of course you are allowed to air you views, just don’t get the hump when someone disagrees with you.

| He'll learn all the moves, and he'll learn the art of not being predictable. That's what makes him such an exciting player. I hesitate from using the term 'prospect' as he's already proved that.

| Sam is still finding his feet in the big time, I personally wouldn`t say he is greedy he likes to run with the ball you cannot knock him for that.

| Quote P4UL_W1G4N="P4UL_W1G4N"Does anyone else think Sam Tomkins is a bit too ball greedy? I've watched his game closely and there have been plenty of times when he could have passed the ball yet chose to go alone and does not get anywhere... He did it against Leeds and ran straight into Peacock, and had he passed we'd of probably scored.
I know this post is going to get people saying, 'I think it's great he chooses to go on his own, it shows his determination,' or, 'we need a 6 who's willing to attack the line' - Yeah, fair enough, but a lot of the time, had Sam passed, the outcome would have been different.

You're right. I think it's great that he goes on his own sometimes.

| Considering how good is he is with ball in hand, it hardly matters.

| I despair, I really do. We've got a young lad who is as big a talent as we've had in years with the potential to become a Wigan RL legend in time and we have people picking holes in his game at the age of 20.
Perhaps you think Christ could have fed 6,000 if he'd sliced the bread a bit thinner!

| The thing I like about Tomkins is that he mixes it up, sometimes passes, sometimes takes the line on to keep the defence guessing.
I assume he took the OP girlfriend.

Sam Tomkins will win young player of the year.'"
I don't know about that, I think Ryan Hall may win it, 22 I think he is, don't know if that's too old mind to get the award.
