I've seen the right one now, agree that he is offside. It's still a lot easier judging a freeze frame than running around continuously making split second decisions. There is a lot to watch on kicks in particular.

Not quite the same theme. but I know a few rugby players from Leigh who never played for the club (for whatever reason) that don't support the Centurions, but might go to watch the odd game. Ian Sanderson and his brother Mark, Cliff Eccles, Mark Hudspith, and I don't know him but don't think Scott Naylor ever bothered when he wasn't playing/coaching.

Oh yeah, players will still support the side they always have in most cases but there is the odd case when that changes. More so in football with the likes of Carragher, Peter Reid, Ian Rush, but when players are treated a certain way by a club their loyalties can change.

Stu Littler was rejected by Wigan and treated like s*** by them as a kid went on to captain Salford and Leigh and still supports Wigan
