Don't get me wrong, Dodds looks a great prospect but at the moment that's all he is, a kid in his first season as a first team starter.
He may have handled the pressure brilliantly or he may have been burned out halfway through the season, who knows, not having any real back-up at half back is a big error on Saints part.
Keep on saying it, if Saints pack can't bully the opposition into submission you've got nothing, almost as clueless as we were last season |

I agree with you fully about us not having the requisite back up. It’s definitely affected us. |

This is a bizarre argument from both sides. You're basically saying if Saints and Wigan can't do what they're good at then they won't be as good. |

Take Lomax and Welsby out and neither would you! Simple fact is, those players are in our squad (although French missed the 1st 7 games of the season and has still scored most tries by a distance). Show me a side that doesn’t play to their strengths and I’ll show my hoop at the town hall. Your side simply lacks the depth that we have. You lost Dodd and struggled to replace him. We lost Leuluai and up steps Harry Smith. There’s your difference. |
