The lad is an England International Prop forward at 21 years of age and has all the potential to be the next Jamie Peacock.
I think the prospect of him signing is very exciting indeed and should be a real boost to our sales.'"
im not saying he wont be, i think he is a great player, but he wouldnt be a reason to renew myseason ticket. it was a little joke which appears to have been missed but never mind.

Lima will be hard for you to replace. From outside looking in he's got better and better during his time with you.
Taylor may start off good before he turns great, but you'd have the chance of him playing the next 12 years for you.'"
Lima for me let himself down at the back end of this season, his performances were sub par.
Not sure of the reason but I do not think we will miss one bit the Lima of the last few months.
He did however show some fantastic form during his time with us and it is a shame he went out like he did.

The poor end of year form of Mossop, Lima and McIlorum really killed our season. At the start of the year Lima and Mossop were among the best props in the league.

Not that we'll ever know the answer but do people thing that the players just lost form or maybe were just knackered due to the intensity of training.

Maybe a bit of both.
Also not resting players just as the previous season had the same result.

| re Lima: whether too much training or too many pies, but was blowing like a train when he came off last week.
Started well (penalties aside), but I suspect he may have decided to coast ever since signing back down-under (although that may be libellous)

It's only what everyone's thinking.
Very disappointed with the attitude of SOME of our imports in recent seasons.

I think the intensity of the training was a big factor but I also think form dipped and I think this was in part due to the side being disrupted far too much by the loss of Tommy to injury but if I had to pick one thing to point the finger at for tiredness it would be the training regime.
I also think I am right in saying some of the injuries picked up this season were picked up doing full-contract training not during games. If Wane carries on with full contact training next year things will be no different.
As to this being the same as the last in terms of not resting players that is not quite true. We got to a CC final last year but we didn't this so had a less arduous run in with extra time off and looked just as knackered.

Yes some have been on a holiday before the seasons end. Though from this seasons departures only Lima i think lacked any effort after he got his move. Finch's form dropped due to Mossop and Lima getting dominated.

| You may feel that this is our grapes, but it isnt. I am sorry to see Scott leave but if he feels he can better himself with Wigan so be it.
I dont believe he is as good as he thinks he is, I dont believe he has enough pace to keep up with the rest of the Warriors especially in defence. He very rarely passes the ball, rarely beats a defensive player, he has a good engine and work rate is good but to me he is not the answer to Lima and Feilding.
What I have seen of Wigan you have better players in your youth and existing forwards than Scott, if he does eventually leave and rovers get a fee for him it is good business for us,same as Blake Green he will never be as good as Brett Finch not in same street.
To finish I wish you good luck for next season I think you will need it you have a lot of players leaving and not that much quality coming in or do you know more than me.
