He wanted to go to Warrington I heard but he's too young.

The idea we'd send him on loan because he and Wane have fallen out is bizarre. It's supposedly so if Wane leaves at the end of the season Hock can come back under a new coach. Really?

Given the rumour I heard was Hock fell out with IL over a bonus payment (which is why he was supposedly being sold to Parra) that would mean IL was going out of his way to accommodate a player he wanted to sell.

It's all getting silly and the "no comment" from the club and Wane just fuels the speculation. It's all over the press as well.

So if Wigan want rid for whatever reason they should just stick him on the transfer list.

If no club meets the valuation Wigan put on him and Wigan won't sell for less then that's the end of any move anywhere and all parties need to be told to get on and do their jobs.

Who was the last player "put on the transfer list" with a stipulated fee?

Isn't the fact the IL wouldn't let Hock go to Australia effectively saying that he is available if the right transfer fee is paid?

Could some kind person please pm me with the alleged story please?.

Our great club is slowly falling apart. Its such a shame

I wasn't suggesting that should be done. I was suggesting he be put on the transfer list i.e. make him available if the club no longer wants him as a player. If the offers that would undoubtedly come in didn't match what Wigan wanted then that should be the end of the matter and everyone should get on with it. Hock in the team (and accepting that is the way things are), Wane coaching him and IL letting them do that.



And if it isn't? Do the club want him here or not is what I'd like to know. What are they going to do if they don't and can't get how mich cash they want in a transfer fee? Send him on loan for the rest of his contract?

Nonsense. The club seem to be trying to act with some discretion in the face of Hock's intransigence and clear ingratitude to all that Wigan and IL have done for him given his past sins. The club is unlikely to 'wash its hands' of him as that may weaken the negotiating position for a transfer fee.

I'm beginning to wonder how many posters on this board check under the bed for bogey men before sleep....

TBH, it's a fairly standard mental leap for some Wigan fans.
