You're probably trolling, but any reason why Wire can't trouble Wigan, especially if Sandow maintains his form after injury?

I don't do trolling. It is a waste of my energy. Wigan were garbage tonight and Wire toiled to a win. Wigan with 8 genuine first teames back comfortably beat them tonight in my opinion.

And if we had kept Sandow on the pitch?

| As soon as he realised he had milked the 8 point try Ratchford was up and running again as if nothing had happened.
If it was any other team it wouldnt be mentioned. Bring back the biff!

| I think you would have won by more....but then you add, Bateman (in my opinion the best player in the league so far this year), Flower, Tomkins, Williams, Gelling all who will be fit this year then I don't think you would win.
As for those trying to excuse Farrell, ridiculous. Cheap shot at best. Should have been binned.

| Tired from the Easter period. (Older bones than Wigan' s)
Key attacking threat removed (I love Sandow, best player in SL for me)
No Wheeler, who is head and shoulder the best British talent of his generation (damn it, a day late)
Sandow was tearing Wigan a new one, with him on the field I think we'd have hit 40.

Fair enough. I would have loved to see a full strength Wire vs Wigan team tonight, I doubt we will see it at the HJ at the end of April either, if Sandow has done a hamstring.
We had 60 minutes with 2 subs after a tough Easter with little rotation. After 53 minutes we were done, Warrington will be better than that too, this isn't the game to judge. Apologies for the troll comment, it was misjudged, especially based on your comments re: Farrell. But to suggest Wigan will SL comfortably is misguided in my view, especially with Sandow in form, with Chris Hill, Ben Currie, Daz Clark etc etc in our ranks.
I like Bateman as a player, and I believe we were very close to signing him a bit before Wigan signed him, i'd have him at Wire in a heartbeat. I wouldn't have him in front of Sandow though, I said from the start getting him here early for a few weeks in 2015 would be great for 2016.

| Sandow is by far the most talented player in SL. If you can keep him fit for most of the season, you have a great chance. Gidley was a very good signing, too. Still confident we'll be there or thereabouts when our creative players are back, though.

disgraceful.'"

Nah I don't think so. Well if he did he didn't do a great job of it did he . Much better to do a Bennie (take your pick which one) and try to knock his eye out with his fist.

| I'm always happier when the Leeds and Warrington games are gone, and the levels of ingrained bitterness and knuckle dragging subsides...

No it doesn't, he clearly slid in knees first and very late. Compare with what Gelling did the other week against Widnes that was sent to video ref to consider an eight point try. The Gelling incident is the type you see every week whilst what Farrell did was a cheap shot that I'd imagine will lead to a Tuesday evening in Leeds for Farrell this week.

As i have said all along, if you would care to read, i hate cheap shots.... If he is punished, i for one will not complain... I'll leave the bleating and whining to others...

| It wasn't a great showing from Wigan, but an entirely predictable one considering our injuries and our attacking displays this season. If Warrington had kept Sandow on the field it may have been less respectable. He showed more attacking intent than we have in most games this season in his cameo, and what a great set up for Kevin Penny.
I appreciate Wigan should improve when we get some of our first teamers back but I do worry about our ability to win silverware this season. It may be early day's and we have done well to grind out wins, but our attack is very basic and there doesn't seem to be any plan B if we can't find the overlaps out wide. I think everybody expects us to improve speed dramatically when Williams and Tomkins return. I hope we do, but who knows what Sam will be like when he returns from a lengthy injury.
Perhaps I'm being overly pessimistic but I just don't like our attack at all. If it doesn't work first time we just continue until it does - or, as we have seen, we throw a loose ball and it becomes a bit scratchy but we might find a hole because of that. A few times Gelling has thrown a basketball pass that has paid off but it doesn't say much for our organization. Yesterday, we had no second receiver who could do anything with the ball and the end of some of our sets were a shambles. We will improve, but so will Warrington, and honestly with the demise of Leeds, Huddersfield and the poor form at Saints they should walk it.
Either way, it should be interesting.
