For a winger to win it they'd have to be exceptional, they're not as involved as other positions are. You could say they are almost flaccid in comparison. |

True that, you're looking at a Richards or Vainikolo at their peak for that, Charnley's a good winger but nowhere near man of steel. I wouldn't even say he's the best winger in the comp |

But he's certainly in the [ipicture[/i isn't he? Eh? Honestly, some people just aren't up to it, it's like they need taking by the hand. Anyway I'm not sure Charney will get the vote, I suspect the criteria are too rigid. |

Sinfield seems to be player of the playoffs every year but does nowt until Srptember rolls in. Here we are again on the verge of August and I can't recall him doing anything special again. I have no doubt he'll perform again in the Autumn and that is why Leeds are favourites in my book.
