Well, no mention or knowledge in London, nor anything in the paper on the way down. The bar at St Pancras does have a blackboard designating it as a " 6 Nations" pub advertising the games. So I've yet to see any evidence of the game happening.

Whilst I understand that it may be a bit annoying, lets focus on the main point here. We are about to play in the World Club Challenge, we have a team full of Wiganers, we are the best team in England and are challenging to be the best team in the world. They could have Danny McGuire, Kevin Sinfield and that bloody Rhino doing the announcements for all I care, I can't help but feel some people are trying to put a downer on Sunday for the sake of it. Think back to the last 5 years, almost getting relegated, signing players that were really not fit to wear the cherry and white, the team being booed off at half time. Is it that big of an issue that someone from Leeds is doing the announcements?

Whats the traffic like on the way to the ground? Can you get a taxi?

Probably not close to the ground. If you are getting a taxi a would advise getting dropped off around the top of Miry lane on the other side of the river Douglas.

Then it is about 200 yards or so over the bridge to the ground.

If you get dropped of near the foot bridge you can also savour some of the most honking burgers know to man

just at the end of the close.

Its also the best way to approach the ground (IMO) as you get a great viewpoint on your way there

If the RL had been brave enough the match could have been played in Manchester in a much larger stadium and marketed over a wide area. Got the feeling that this is a missed opportunity, the general feeling is this is a (albeit special) Wigan home game.
