They're okay. We have a Greenhalghs van pull up at work everyday.
However a chicken & mush pie (my fav) is really flat and about a half the size of a Meat and Potato and its the same price.

Meyt and potato ones at the match are tasteless and the pastry is too dry!
Always give me indigestion....they're pretty fowl at the JJB IMO.....the pooles is nothing like they used to be and I cant understand why everyone rates them so much.
IMO the best pies are greenalghs by some way

Best pies in the world award goes to Hollands IMO. Utterly fabulous.'"
Hollands pies are almost the only ones sold around my area.
Now they are cat !
Hollands got bought out by pakistanis over 20 years ago.
About five years ago the police raided Hollands at Baxendale as an old asian woman had been murdered and they thought had been disposed of.

Were?
As far as I can see Holland's Pies was bought out in 1979 by Pork Farms and then later sold to Northern Foods.
As for the Pooles Pies question I have only ever had one at the stadium (assuming it's Pooles at the stadium), which was decent enough but nothing special.

| The current Poole's ones are bloody dreadful. Nowhere comes close to Dawson's of Tyldesley...always found Galloway's to be a bit touch and go, and although Greenhalgh's probably taste the better of the 'pie chains', they're not half bloody expensive.
Rollin Pin pasties are abysmal, by the way (I can't be seen to be eating pies )

Aye, 'tis true what he says but they gave the pie factory the all clear. I heard she ended up seeing a lot of Blackburns night life.......... wrapped in a pitta blanket with some salad and a splash of chilli sauce to keep her warm. Moral of the story - don't eat kebabs in Blackburn, they may not be quite what they seem
