What about Saturdays? I'd prefer to play then - obviously when Latics aren't playing. Allows you to have a few beers without worrying about getting up for work on the Sunday

Friday games are better for me as i usually have a hangover scheduled for sunday

Friday night. Lots of people work on Saturday and Sunday these days.
Don't mind the odd Sunday in mid summer though.

Always a better atmosphere on a friday the only good one on a sunday was when Hull KR came to town.

was able to make yesterdays game and took the family (2 under 3) and they loved it. however prefer friday night because of my job I only get every 3rd weekend off and this is important family time. We once played Catalans on a sunday night and thisnk this would be a very good compromise. No job issues as most people who work weekends work in retail and sunday trading dictates finishing around 5pm. still leaves weekend for family and does not give bad weeeknd when we get stuffed

I remember when 6.30pm Sunday Sky Live kick offs were the norm.

It was a pain coming back from places such as Castleford on a Sunday night though.

Work all week then Friday night for the match, leaving the weekend for family stuff!

I would have to say sundays are alot better altho i do like friday nites in the summer with the sun goin down but before SL we used always play on a sunday and before that we played on saturdays, daytime is always goin be better than nite time if you have got kids and you want to introduce them to the game,your not worried about getting in at 2230 and her indoors moaning about getting the kids to bed PS i dont have any kids at mo so im ok.

I actually prefer the Sat games at 6pm, but thats purely for a pre match session

Friday nights are the better option of the two above, but ist all about personal choice, work, family etc. So everyone is going to be different.

Friday, something to look forward to at the end of the week, better atmosphere, I personally like a lazy day on sundays.

Sunday's for me. Celtic was the first game for my little boy. He loved every min of it. This is what makes it such a fantastic sport to watch.

He's tucked up in bed for 8pm every night.

I went for Friday nights but enjoy the occasional Sunday home fixture like yesterday, it was great in the baking hot sunshine for a change!
