| Quote: Mugwump "The problem is less of coaching than playing personnel (although it's true that the coach must bear responsibility for recruitment - provided he is the sole recruiter).
The Wigan team has no obvious and consistent "spine" through 1, 6, 7, 9 & 13 (almost always the most influential players) and thus no guidance - via it - around the pitch. This puts enormous pressure on the coach to ensure all plays are executed correctly from the touchline.
With a consistent spine (if albeit a modestly talented one) these key players take up the slack and the coach is free to work on those added extras which give the team its 'edge'.
To be frank, I doubt even Wayne Bennett himself could make much headway with this team.'"
to be fair to nobby he's not.

| Shaun Wane is favourate for the coaching job should we lose at Quins !!
I personally would like a former player to take over and restore the pride and passion of wearing the "famous cherry & white"
If SW does get the job I wish him well. He has done a fantastic job with the lower grades and he should be given a chance IMO.
If it's not SW who gets the job who else is in contention because its only time before Noble goes?

| Well personally i really like noble, not only as a coach but his personality to the media has always shown him as a respectable man. I hope he could stay at wigan however not as our coach, i believe he has built our team to the border and a new addition at coach would pick our team up nicely. He has always seemed to be a simple coach who lacks any fancy ideas or plays. He also isnt a motivational coach, which i feel we need at the moment. He has taken our team as far as he can (in my opinion) as coach however i hope that IF we do get another coach, he is offered another position, if one is available.
Thanks
BBM

| Could very well be the way forward, as i said i hope he stays on but not as coach, we need a coach that can make on the spot desicions, provides exciting plays ( something we have lacked for a while), but mainly we need passion instilled in our squad, every other team seems to have everybody playing as if they want to be there, even the ozzies are taking pride in their shirts, now i am not saying that all of ours do not but you just cannot see the want.
