All of which has nothing to do with embarrassment at reaching GFs
As for our squad being old, what an odd statement.

You should discuss the embarrassment with the OP, i am mearly discussing that you need to shift the monkey from your back, it MUST have an effect on the players who take the field. It basically finished KC career on a low, which was a real shame.
Paul Wellens 31
Josh Perry 30
Ade Gardner 29
Tony Puletua 32
Chris Flannery 31
Francis Meli 32
Kyle Eastmond - GONE
Leon Pryce - GONE
James Graham - GONE
All players who would be in starting line up right?
Without doubt you have brought some excellent young players thourgh, none more so than Lomax this season.

| Why are wigan fans so obsessed with saints???? you're beginning to sound like a Liverpool fan talking about United.
If we get to another Gf and lose, so what, Warrington have been the best side all season, and probably deserve to call themselves champs anyway, all we can say is that we've been beaten by a better team on the day, but we would also have the satisfaction of ending your season!!!
Plus anybody who thinks that saints have an ageing side, obviously hasn't been watching the game for the past 2 years, season after season people have gone on about is this the season when we see the fall of the mighty St Helens, and each year we answer that question with a big fat NO.
Year after year we are never too far away, and now we have got the move out of the way, we will only get better.
Have we ever been close to relegation? Relegated for that fact? missed out onthe play offs? NO
Robo, you look like a sad little boy son.

Meli - Wigan fans had a petition to re-sign an older centre.
Puletua/Perry - Props, no issues with early 30s props, especially when TP is still so good (Fielden? Coley?)
Gardner and Flannery would struggle to make the 17 next year, but Gardner is younger than Pat Richards anyway.
Wellens - Captain, but will be phased out over next season. Did OK at the DW recently.
Eastmond/Pryce/Graham - GONE. Deacon/Coley/Hoffman/Maguire - GONE

Well Wigan will be competing in their fourth consecutive under 20's GF this Saturday, hoping for a fourth consecutive win.

Coley and Deacon are retiring. Roberts is a write off. O carroll has been injured for ages so hardly a miss.
Lima is 29, Richards is 29, Lockers is 29, Finch is 30, Fielden is 32 i think.
Hardly busting out the walking sticks

Pretty even I would have thought. Wire have beaten the Wigan side on both occasions they've met. Although Wigan topped the table come season end.
