| If we are to beat the Aussies we need a big mobile pack, not the big plodders like the attitude GB had in the 70's.
I would play Ben Westwood at prop with Morley, Griffin, Crabtree, Mason, Mossop, Graham, Burgess in there too.

He's not been as good as previous seasons but always raises his game at International level.
I would like to see at least one of Mason, Griffin or Mossop given a chance against the Aussies though.

| i like morley as an impact prop off the bench, might be getting on a bit but he puts himself about well and brings good energy, hope he plays in the 4N

| In a game where you pies choose to slag off Peacock!
Just for the record he made 179 meters and 34 tackles.
And that's him not at his best.

Genuine question - how many carries were the 179 metres off?
Given the amount of errors and conditions, he must have got through a shed load of work like the other forwards.

Nicked from the legend that is tvoc from the Leeds board
Player(Mins): Metres - Carries (MT/Carry) - Tackles - Misses (Efficiency %) - Errors - Penalties
Peacock(54): 179 - 21 (8.52) - 34 - 1 (97%) - 2 – 4

Errors 2 pens 4 actually but don't let the truth get in the way of a good witch hunt.

| 4 penalties = 120 metres-ish
2 errors = 80 metres-ish
Peacock is a liability.

I don't think he's a liability, but he certainly isn't the player he once was and I don't think he should be pulling on an England shirt again.

I can't possibly agree with that about Mossop. I think he'd be brilliant against the Aussies because he'll just play his normal game.
Thing is, Lee Mossop won't get picked for England, because he's Lee Mossop.

How many other props made 179 meters and 34 tackles in 54 mins this week. And you pies say that's peacock playing crap?
He wont be over his injury till next year so realistically he is still gonna be in the England team as no english props but Graham(who is number 1) and Moz can get near him. Which says how poor sl and English props are.

I didn't say he's playing crap, I don't think he is, but surely you agree he isn't the player he once was? I don't think there is much point playing the likes of Peacock constantly and hoping somehow that something will change and we'll start winning. This is a chance to blood the likes of Mossop and build an England squad that could grow into something much more effective than what we have now, wishful thinking with McNamara in charge I know. Of course you still need your experienced players in there, but something has to change in the national set up, playing the likes of Peacock until they retire isn't very forward-thinking.
