Salford were very very poor tonight, devoid of attacking ideas and didn't really test us at all!!

Felt a lot like the early games this season against Crusaders, Catalans and Hull KR - tiny away following and basically a training exercise on the pitch. It was over as a contest 20mins in which took any edge out of the game - we still played some great stuff though. Sam's pass for Hansen's try was really great. Fair play to Salford, the two scores they managed were well taken, but they didn't threaten us at all outside of that. Solid performance from Wigan, without the easing off in the final quarter of a certain win that's been a feature of some games this year.

The sad reality is that he will earn way more in his playing career than anyone on display tonight. He is going nowhere.

Correct. It was very flat tonight, the crowd only got 'up for it' in the last twenty! How ironic though was being sang at by 4 Salford scallies (out of their grand total of 150 tonight), that our support was f***king $hit!

Obviously Ashton won't come back to League any time soon I'm jesting, he was sat with his mates Stephen Fry and Joanna Lumley sipping Pimms and plum juice whilst eating prawn sarnies.
