This - always supported Queensland due to NSW's dominance in the early/mid-90s (and prefer the shirts), and even now I find it difficult to support NSW, though eventually I always find myself rooting for the underdog.
And I constantly pray someone will flatten that cocky little gobe Slater and finally get to grips with Inglis. Plus Barrett is 18th man. So yes, NSW this time round.

Sometimes Sir, the truth hurts, just smile back at them, they will go away, (eventually) Roosters for me.

My reasons are very similar. When i first goy in to SOO (around 1993) it NSW were the top boys but they had my hero Paul harrigain playing for them so even though i rooted for QLD i wanted to see the Chief dist some fists.
In the late 90s / 2000 i rooted for QLD because Tallis played for them and as we all know he was as mean as they come, and when i was a lad i liked my idols to be as mean as they come!!.
Now NSW are underdogs by quite a long way so i am drawn to them.
Fickle fans eh?
I really wish they gave War of the roses more of a chance. that could be huge if they let the lads get proper stuck into each other and caused some bad blood.
Then watch the fire works go off!!

Highlight of the Rugby calender (either code). Tooheys is garbage, try a few Pure Blonde Stubbies, after a few of them even Rogues would be talking sense (if you know what I mean!! )
Enjoy the game and the banter!!! Up the blues

Shame we have to go back to Sky having their own pundits rather than getting the full channel 9 show. Suppose be grateful for small mercies, they claim it's in HD even though it isn't flagging up on the Sky EPG.
Phil Clarke and Brian Carney in the studio for Sky. Kick Off 11:10am.
