| Completely agree yet it happened numerous times throughout the game??? Is this drilled into the Wigan players? The Reece Lyne one was a joke. Sort it out.

| Oh lovely. Were being treated to sanctimony yet again after a Wigan loss...
Quote: cas all the way "Don't expect any different from Wigan though do we. If they can't win games they will try and either cheat salary cap or play dirty.'"
So I suppose that's why St Helens, Hull, London, Huddersfield, Warrington and Cas all suffered through injuries during the game because it's the Wigan way to "cheat" when they're losing? Oh wait, no, they didnt. Guess you'll have to dribble some other e because it doesn't back up.
If that's the example of a Cannonball tackle; tackling the knees at the right and angle from about half a metre away, then you might as well put up shop because that stuff happens every game. Saw it at least 5 times during the Saints Warrington game. The only difference is Digital stayed down. Good spot for a penalty kick I thought...

Good spot for a penalty kick? Have a word. You were at it all night regardless of field position. Joke of a comment.

| Don’t get me wrong I’m honest enough to admit I’ll jump all over any Wigan indiscretions, but I can’t see anything wrong with that particular tackle. Am I missing something?

| I can’t comment on the injuries as I didn’t go to the game but I don’t see a lot wrong with that one as it was behind the knees, think Fifita is making something out of nothing on that one.

Managed to play 80 minutes despite the tackle that could have ended his career. I am absolutely suggesting he was making it up because of the field position. Again, what's wrong which tacking at the knee in the direction it bends? You see it week in week out, or is it because it's Wigan that you have a problem?
Cas fans have some temerity too after having a player banned for elbowing a player and having someone sin binned last night for headbutting...
It's like a pantomime with you lot. The banter page tried drumming up some anti Wigan stuff with it and the majority of responses were that there was nothing in it.

| Glad I’m not the only one who saw little wrong with that. “Could have ended his career” but plays the full game? I have to agree with a previous poster that it’s in a rather convenient location for a penalty and no other player, nor the referee, even picked up on it.
Attacks the knee where it bends and I saw that literally happen multiple times last night during the Warrington/Saints game, some from the side.
Some people really ought to get over themselves.

I don’t have a problem with Wigan, I have problem when any team continually attack the knees with the third man in. If this was an isolated incident I’d agree with you but it went on all game. The Lyne one was a shocker. If you seriously think Fifita was acting that out to get a penalty you need a head test.

I havent seen any other challenge and if they're against the bend of the knee I will stand with you in condemning it. I'm 100% truthful (and if I had the inclination could find at least 10 examples from the two televised games) when I say this happens every single game across the country. A player gets stood up, a 3rd player tackles the knees to get him down and on his back. When I say he milked it for a penalty I don't say this as a slight on Fafita or Wakefield; every team show examples of milking penalties.

| Milking it....secondstanza you surely are joking.
I assume that you have not seen the video. I suspect Sam Powell will see at least 3 matches, after all Rangi Chase sat out 7 for a similar offence.
I am no Wigan bashers, but your strength is playing football which your backs showed they were very capable of last night.
However the slowing down of the
Play the ball and the 3rd man grubby tackling are a disgrace to the Wigan name
Watch the injury to Reece Lyne to see what I mean.

Wasting your breath on here bud, it's all bravado and red and white tinted glasses on this board.
Quality to the end. Although I think one of their faithful said that "it didn't look good", which is as close to an admission of guilt as your going to get. Classy.

I remember the Rangi one, on Ferres I think, but it did injure Ferres. I think they said Ferres was looking at a long spell out of the game so they gave Ranfi 7 matches. Ferres was back in 2 weeks!
If I had to criticise the tackle it would be for the excessive force the lad went in on the back of the knees, it wasn't needed.
Fifita looks as if he's held and is getting ready to play the ball.

Watch the video again Fafita was still moving forward if any thing the tackle was under his backside more than anything. He should be cited for posting that on twitter bringing the game in disrepute.
