| HKR take all the credit. They did what they had to do and fooled a childish and dumb team in to falling for the same tricks they did at their place.
Fully deserved win for them.

| Hull KR came with a game plan and did a number on us similar to Cas last year in the cup. We can be quite easy to beat if teams did their homework.
Campese could have played in a dinner suit and a pair of slippers he had that much time to dictate the game.

| Castleford last year, Hull KR this year. Who was the last Wigan coach to get knocked out of the cup two years in a row by such average teams? Granted Flower robbed us of a trophy in the Grand Final, but I can't help thinking back to 2013 and looking at the ridiculously easy cup run and Warrington injuries during the GF and wondering whether Shaun Wane has actually had a fair bit of luck which has potentially made him look better than he is. I'm not saying I'd get rid at this point but I'm not yet convinced by him either, certainly think we've gone backwards since Maguire left. Nothing but winning the Grand Final will do for this season now.

| We are not as good yet as some people think we are.
KR fully deserved their win and should take full credit for their approach and performance.
We had enough ball and possession to give us the platform for a win but we just were not good enough to deliver.
Im a big SOL fan but he is nowhere fit enough and should not be in the starting 13 or dare I say it the squad.
Our weak link is and will be in the centres until we sign two new replacements or hopefully just the one and Gildart progresses to first team rugby. I hope I'm wrong but Sarginson is in for a torrid few weeks.
We need to roll our sleeves up get our heads out of our backsides and learns how to churn out a win when things don't go to plan.
A very disappointing defeat but on reflection with our crazy inconsistency probably not too surprising.
Good luck KR in the next round.

The thing is you don't realise how average you are. Phil clarke slagged us off last week for not being able to win away but never mentioned your equally bad away form. Bottom line is your arogance will always be your downfall.

Summed up well, i don't think we will win another trophy under Wane so were does that leave us?
I feel if we don't win the GF and i really don't think we will, he has to be moved upstairs because he is doing quite a bit of damage to the club at the moment especially all his gobbing off in the press.
His signings over the years have been average to fair, and his desire for an all academy team showed tonight that it is a pipe dream as you need experienced heads from all over the world to reach your peak.
Expected this tonight, it was similar to the challenge cup final win against Hull only Hull KR were better and deservedly won..

I personally don't buy the coach won us the game or lost us a game theory unless the coach is absolutely useless or borders on the miraculous. Wane doesn't stand in either camp.
The players lost the game tonight with poor execution or resorting to indiscipline when things didn't go their way.
I am personally hoping that tonight is a wake up call and we have lots of work to do to make the top four so hopefully tonight may be a watermark on the season.
By the way the opposition can and will raise their game and will be rightful winners.

Not a one off is it.
Poor performances are becoming a regular problem in big games especially.
We have had many wake up calls, the crowds are dropping.
Maybe IL will have had enough if we fail to final or win a trophy this season, i know i would.
Opposition will always raise their game against Wigan, we should always be ready and properly prepared for that, we weren't today.

| The players lost us the game yes, although we are losing almost every game away from home.
Are those players too young? We need experienced players in the spine yet when Lockers isn't there we only have Smith out there for the 80. Mic Mac is experienced but is spelled by Powell or Logan.
Tonight I thought HKR's experience saw them through, just.
This away form has to improve or it's curtains on another season.

I've labelled the team childish on a few occasions this season. They run about getting wound up and play with little composure.
It's a huge issue.

You can't win every game even St Maguire couldn't do it with a far superior squad.
The players lost the game tonight.
Sarginson, Bateman and Tomkins are ok players. We make them out to be the best thing since sliced bread. BatemAn made one pass last Easter and suddenly he was the next best centre in the comp.
Senior players need to step up and SW should keep quiet and work away in the background for the next few months.
By the way is the CC a big game anymore? I'm a traditionalist but even I know for the last 15 years or so it's a bit of an afterthought with pathetic crowds until the final and even then they are pretty poor compared to the GF.
I hate losing and it ruins my weekend however, tonight we we're Second best to the opposition. Shit happens but there is still time to regroup.

I agree with most of that except I do think we were up for the GF v Wire. The win in the CC v Hull was a lot less convincing. Since then though I think we have been going backwards with the odd spark of form that flatters to deceive.
