| Take all the fuss away and it's just good to have a top quality player back. We know what we get with Flower and it'll be good to see him back on the field.
I expect he'll get a positive reaction from the supporters and in a couple of games it'll blow over somewhat and he can just crack on.

| Looking forward to seeing him back. I hope he can go on to make himself a career that isn't overshadowed by that one incident.

| *pedant hat on*
Why can't supporters get the names of players of their own team right?
*pedant hat off*
As a fan of another team, it's good to see him back - heard some bad stories about him after the GF, so good that he's made it through those issues and get back on the field. Just hope fans of the opposition don't boo him into the ground every time he touches the ball!

In reality he should only get booed by Saints fans, and understandably so, but us rugby fans are a funny lot and we'll boo just about anyone for anything at all. Hopefully, like Monaghan and the barking, it'll wear off sooner rather than later.

I'd be more inclined to cheer him for services to our trophy cabinet!
He's served his ban, welcome back as far as I'm concerned. Hope he gets back into it easily and makes the most of his career.

Probably put up a statue to him in St Helens, they finally broke their GF hoo doo, (only just though!)

I agree, and can I say I hope we resign Sam Tompkins.

| it does my head in that in almost every related article that there is a link or video clip of the incident. I'd hate to say players like gaz hock deserve the constant derogatory media attention but in fairness to him he is targeted because the media know he is an easy story whether he is in the wrong or not.
as for ben, the one big blip on his career to date is currently all everyone in the game cares about, so its about time ben gets the chance to start putting things right again. hopefully as a result the coverage of the incident will die down and perhaps there is a fairytale ending yet to come...
cannot wait to see him back in the team. I'm actually almost a little scared he is going to be too pumped again!!

Competed in ten out of seventeen Grand Finals. Won five.

We should try to sign Rob Burrows to replace Smith too.

| I just hope sky don't make a big deal about it like when Hock came back from 2yr drug ban.
What flower did was bad and he shouldn't be Made a hero for it. Hes served his ban (far to long Imo) and let's move on.

He'll get a big welcome from the Wigan supporters I'd imagine but that certainly not down to him being made out as a hero. I think people realise he did wrong and nobody can make excuses for him but it was so out of character. It's easy to say that after the event and you always hear it but it was so unlike him.
He's served his punishment and has kept his dignity. I'm looking forward to seeing him back.

I think it be best for the sport if it was a low key return for him and not the muppets on sky making out like he's a hero.
I was shocked at the big hype when Gaz hock came back, he had been found to me taking drugs!
I can understand if it's a player like Sam tomkins returning to the club tho.
