| No, i thought he had a good steady game. People dont realise how serious his injury was, it will take him a couple of games to get match fit - hopefully just intime for the playoffs

| Hopefully he'll get a good run of games in now until the play offs to get his match fitness and confidence back.
If we can get him playing to the level he was at before Easter then him along with guys like Richards, Gleeson, Sam and Leuluai will put us in with a great chance of getting to Old Trafford.

It was him who passed to Sam to put him into space for his run after the restart as well.

23997_1287161421.jpg
Great game of rugby league. Fantastic atmosphere, Wigan were breathtaking and dominant in all areas for the first 25 minutes, coupled with us making alot of dumb mistakes, then fortunately they brought McIlorum on which helped us back into the game. I thought some of the tries we scored to get us within two we're out of this world stuff. Towards the end we had to force it a little and we had a few things go wrong, i.e Monas kick on the first for King and Solomona going off who was causing havoc. Wigan were clinical in their eventual execution of us. Proud of Wire today and gave us a little glimpse to the future. Silverwood was awful as per, but I expect no less. Tomkins is a world class player and by far the best english player in SL. Wigan are a champion side and would be a worthy winner of taking our title as challenge cup. Good luck over the next month and a bit.
:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_23997.jpg |

| Definitely not 100% yet, understandably. The run out will have done him good, though.

| the first few games for a player coming back are always the hardest to watch as a fan, because he was that good before the injury too many people expect too much too soon. it was a good run out for him today, he went looking for work but didnt over do it, also had a couple of nice runs. it was one of those games where u have to take the little things from it. on another note i think HH is also making a good return from injury.

| He was really hesitant (understandably) last night.
He dallied when going for the kick when Salford scored their first try and then gave the interception for their second when he could have gone in himself.
It'll probably take him a few games too get back up to speed and fully regain his confidence.

| It was a good game for Amos to come back to unlike last time against Leeds in the cup. Salford were never going to beat us last night and it allowed Amos to just find his feet again and the same goes for Lockers. Both will be better next week against Warrington.

| Personally i would not play roberts next week or he would certainly start from the bench. I think he should have a few games in the under 20's and get across the white wash and build some confidence. Warrington will target him all day and a previous poster was right the 1st Salford try was down to Roberts lack of confidence he should have taken that kick.
a bad game against Warrington next week and his confidence could well and truly be shot.

I'd go along with that. When Amos is good he can be almost unplayable but when he's bad he can be a liability, as we saw a few times last season

That's what you call spot on, let him get his match fitness in the reserves, at the moment he's doing nothing in attack and he's a liability in defence.
If he was fully fit, never in a million years would Myler have beaten him to that ball.
