Bridge over Gleeson???
And people actually try to defend Smiths selection process?
Either way I hope both Lockers and Sam don’t make the final squad and they rest up over the winter.
International RL is a joke

| Its not always about ability though is it. Smith obviously knows something about Gleeson and doesnt like it. Therefore doesnt want him around the squad.

On reflection over the season probably doesn't deserve it.
However even if he did its unlikely Smith would have picked him anyway, what with Chris Bridge about to run rings round Greg Inglis.

The same Smith that made him captain for the Wales game?
If he didn’t know about Gleeson’s chequered past then when the rest of RL did then he’s even more of an imbecile that I thought.
And speaking of Chris Bridge he’s hardly whiter than white is he;

| Well done to them both, and well done to Hansen for being called into the Samoa squad, just a shame that outside Aus and NZ international RL is embarrassing.

Exactly.
For me Joel Tomkins deserves a place over Ben Harrison. He is a better player.

I get the whole trying to develop international talent but Bridge isn’t good enough to be given a go.
At the end of the day Warrington have done hardly anything this season.
Their fans will come on and rave about the C.C but realistically they didn’t get to face the two best teams in the comp in Saints and Leeds (we all know what their record is against them as well). They beat a woeful Wigan side and got lucky with the video ref in the final against Hudds.
Yes they did well to win the thing as it represents 50% of the trophies out there but other than that they’ve been poor this season and the league table doesn’t lie.

| Wonder whether he'll consider giving Eastmond a run at centre - he's looked pretty explosive at times in that position. Would be a big gamble from a defensive perspective though.

Hope not. I can think of 8 Aussie centres who would run over/through/round him every time.

At the end of the day i'd rather see him there than Bridge as he'll actually cause a problem for the Aussies. Far 2 long have we’ve opted for safety rather than raw talent and pace.
We aren’t going to beat the Aussies over the three test series so let’s get exciting players in there and just attack at them.

| To be fair i hope whoever is selected for the matches performs well and is given some support - yes even bridge I have a horrible feeling he's going to get completely run over by the likes of Inglis. I will be more than happy to be wrong though

In fairness that rule applies to most centres we have.
