I mean that every team tries it on with the cheap shots in every game and its naive or a blinkered view that fails to recognise this. I have no issue with your tackling technique (It is legal after all) or that of Hudds or even that of the Storm in this years WCC.

The poster I quoted was implying that if we had two refs to rule on cheap shots then Leeds would be knackered, i suggest it would impact on all teams equally, i said or implied nothing toward your tackling technique.

because Lockers challenge wasn't to the head, it wasn't on a fullback, he wasn't offside, Robinson had just passed the ball not just caught it it was marginally late and he was duly warned by the DC. It was totally indefensible from Ablett which is why the majority of fans of other clubs, all the commentary team and every newspaper article I have read have said he should have been sent off and deserves a ban.

It was upper chest/neck. Marginally? Robinson could hardly defend himself either. Deserved more than what he got punishment wise for it.

Can't believe some of the drivel spouted on this thread (sine die etc). It was a bad challenge, deserved a red card, and will result in a ban of a few games. It's a tough sport, get over it, I'm sure Sam has. Your team is top of the pile & playing well. Enjoy it!

Also, when Ganson is explaining the penalty to Sinfield and Ablett, he says the first offece was offside, so surely the penalty should've been on where he kicked the ball and not where the high tackle was?
