The Dire are clearly more successful than us - for a start they play at least two cup finals every year (against us).

Wrong.... Its based on over 100 years of success, as we are the most successful rugby league club in Britain, if not the World..
Why do people think that Wigan only won trophies in the 80's and 90's?? Yes it was our most successful period, but lets not deny the history of the Great Wigan Club.. |

Point I was making was its the high standards of the 80's and 90's which make the lack of trophies in the last 8 years not acceptable thus the likes of Noble get the boot. |

my philosophy is if you're going to go out of a tournament you can take more credit out of it getting beat by the eventual winners of said tournament.
