George Carmont should be signed up ASAP. He is one of the best centres in the league and the best overseas signing IFL has made IMO.
A rumour on the other forum concerns me. A one year contract would be ideal for Wigan so that some games we could rest him and play Goulding or Pryce. |

Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good

the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever

I would get him for 2 years IMO as I think he could play a full season next year and then start bringing in Thornley the year after! |

I'd give Carmont whatever contract he wants, one of our best and most important players. He is vital to our sucess, we really miss him when he's playing. Hopefully he can can shake off all these nagging injuries during the offseason, he wont have world cup duties this year aswell which will help.
One of the Top 3 centres in the league with Gidley and Senior IMO.
I will be gutted if he leaves this year.

1 year only for me, he is at an age and stage of his career where injuries build up and recovery time increases. 1 year with a second on option to hedge our bets, but in truth with the quota rules etc and his age i cannot see him being at Wigan beyond 2010, although we certainly need him for 2010, with Pryce or Goulding stepping up to the plate when he is injured staking a claim for a starting shirt in 2011. |

I see Jordan Turner has been confirmed at Hull FC, hate to say it but clubs are really strengthening for next year, if the signings play to there ability and stay fit there could be some damn fine team's about next year.

The Graham to wire rumors has been going around for a while, but now there are rumors of a world record fee being involved to get him. Personally don't believe a word of it, however were it true and Saints were open to offers surely Lenegan would take a punt.
