23997_1287161421.jpg
Great game of rugby league. Fantastic atmosphere, Wigan were breathtaking and dominant in all areas for the first 25 minutes, coupled with us making alot of dumb mistakes, then fortunately they brought McIlorum on which helped us back into the game. I thought some of the tries we scored to get us within two we're out of this world stuff. Towards the end we had to force it a little and we had a few things go wrong, i.e Monas kick on the first for King and Solomona going off who was causing havoc. Wigan were clinical in their eventual execution of us. Proud of Wire today and gave us a little glimpse to the future. Silverwood was awful as per, but I expect no less. Tomkins is a world class player and by far the best english player in SL. Wigan are a champion side and would be a worthy winner of taking our title as challenge cup. Good luck over the next month and a bit.
:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_23997.jpg |

Like i said it makes a new coaches job that much tougher and it makes Lenagans task nigh on impossible now!
I don't see where we're going to get a world class coach from let alone the 3 top class players we need.
It's time to focus fully on our youth players.'" Does this mean bailey gets a new deal?

double standards all round - they will hang a young lad out to dry, but as soon as one of the big boys does something wrong its brushed under the carpet.
Hock is obviously a special needs case for getting caught.'"
Phil Berry at warrington in 2005, i believe the club didn't even bother to stand by him at any of his hearings, he's quite blase about it on his facebook page *former rugby player:Fooked it upp!*

| Despite being angry and embarressed I'm actually quite happy to get rid of somebody who brings the culture within the club down. I really hope Gareth Hock is made an example of and I don't care what he does with the rest of his life as long is it is nothing to do with Wigan Rugby League.
I'm sure the players will have had a team meeting and I hope the minority who may have the same urges felt embarressed, scared, frightened and paranoid about the whole situation. I also hope the academy and reserve teams have a serious dicussion and meeting in regards to the situation. Luckily, most of them will be level headed, sensible young professionals but Gareth Hock is a prime example of somebody who has come through the ranks of the club and is potentially going to ruin his life, self respect and credibility.
This could be a massive wake-up call to certain players and one huge step to improving the dramatically fading culture at Wigan Rugby League.

The Cockayne and Cas reserve player is a perfect example. Hull KR stand by first teamer, Cas get rid of reserve.

| Quote: Bolton_Warrior "My first thoughts on this were that we should wash our hands of him completely due to him being such a pillock.
However after thinking things through my thoughts are that we should do whatever the RFL hand down which I assume will be a two year ban. For those two years he will be sacked by the club.
Then after the two years peroid if he has shown that he regrets what he has done and if he can prove (by random testing) that he has stayed clean then he can come back on our terms in terms of wages.
As much as people may seem to want him lynched at the moment and I can understand that, I do feel that unless it is something like murder then people deserve a sceond chance. However it would be his 2nd and last chance and after that if he could not learn from this then it would be time to give him up completely.
In the meantime I think it is time to get Lee Mossop back.'"
If we sack him he might not want to come back to Wigan, he might get a better offer in 2 years time.
I doubt Hock would think that he would want to repay the Wigan fans that he let down, in 2 years time by playing on a reduced wage. I doubt that even registers in Hock's mind.

I doubt it, he will follow the current trend of saying "no" to Wigan and sign for us.

| Cocaine is different to performance enhancing drugs and is more to do with stupid lifestyle choices than cheating on the pitch. You can't treat him more severely because he is a top player.
The RFL should give him the standard two year ban and then draw a line in the sand, so to speak, and introduce life bans from next year with more vigorous testing. If it discourages players from doing it, then in the long term it is in the players best interests.

If a two year ban doesn't put players off, a life ban won't either. Some people are just that stupid and Hock fits nicely into the moron category.

| Gaz Hocks been stupid enough to get caught once, if hes been tested positive in his B sample aswell then hes even stupider than we thought. Would i be surprised to see him get away with this with a clean B sample? No but his reputation either way is done forever now.

Again tho it’s the Wigan club that will feel this the hardest not Hock as if he’s to thick to realise in the first place the opportunity he had he never will.
As I’ve said through no fault of their own Wigan are going to have to sack one of our leading players and we aren’t going to get anything back from all the investment we’ve put into him.
Where is the justice when Hock goes to another team after his ban and scores a few tries against us!!!
The system is against the clubs and not the players and we lose out either way when it’s a player of Hocks talent.

I hope not tbh.
11-New second rower or Hansen
12-J Tomkins
13-O'Loughlin
bench spot-Hansen/Mossop/Flanagan/Farrell
we could use Baileys/Hocks money to get a top line prop out of a deal and re-sign Coley on a one year deal going in with a big front row and the possibility of Coley filling in at second row.

Looks likely, but I still think we would be alrite with Hansen, Tomkins, Flanagan and Mossop.
