Was outstanding yesterday looked dangerous each time he got the ball and had the Aussies worries. He shoved the jeers right back at the bitters including the Stains fans sat behind me!

Has for RU. He had the chance this time if RU had wanted to stump up the million that Lenagan quoted! But hes off at end of year to join Madge!

I noticed that, they targeted Briscoe a lot. Very strange - you'd think they'd have tested Tomkins out with a few high bombs (which he's not the best under to be honest) rather than just kicking it at Briscoe (and occasionally Hall) all day.

Tomkins was outstanding yesterday. He turned in the best performance I've ever seen from the full back position by a British player in an international.
