Its the cost of calling the stadium on the ticket hotline number. Why should they have an 0871 number, why cant they have an 01942 number ?

Also, whilst I'm on about it, the fact that they want £2 per transaction when you use a debit card and call them is not on either.

Not everyone is lucky enough to be able to get to the ground and join the queue.

I hope they will be FREE butties and for TEN THOUSAND PEOPLE or I will be contacting the club, the RFL and my MP to complain.

And those who bought tickets for previous away games will need first dibs at said butties in honour of their category 1 status

After spending about 30 mins on the phone my wife finally managed to get us tickets for the game

Like I said earlier in the thread imo there should have been a system in place that allowed people who had been to a certain amount of away games to get first bite at the cherry rather than have a season ticket holder free for all.

Granted for those who have paid on the gate at away games it would not have helped much, but it lessens the chance fans who travel away all the time getting not getting tickets.

Putting the freebie issue to one side why do you think there will be hordes of Wigan fans unable to get tickets? We'll take less than 2500 to Barrow. All this rushing for tickets IMO is fine if you are a tight get but if you are doing it because you think you might otherwise miss the game you need to get a reality check.

The coming back to bite in the ass is one of the reasons why I did not want to wait for tickets.

As for being a tight get rushing for the tickets, well as fans who spend a lot of money going to practically every away game I think we deserve a free ticket when they are available.

Lastly the way the club are putting it does not give great hope for getting a substantial amount of tickets as below.

i got there at 9.25 and got my ticket at 10.20 then the was only a handfull left

What else can they put at this stage? They don't have any tickets but I firmly believe if that ground holds 6500 no-one will miss out. Barrow fans may be bigging it up too much. Remember the leigh friendly when we were all told there would be 10,000 on?

Maybe they meant seats rather than people who would fill the seats
