For me it’s a big game changer and I think it favours Warringtons bigger pack, I also think the long kicking game comes into play a lot more and that isn’t one of our strengths, although it was pretty good last week.

Our pack is better than Warrington’s. We go 4 forwards on the bench and we dominate them down the middle imo

Quote: Jukesays "In the 2/3 games he covered for Sam recently he let the ball bounce numerous times (I think 5/6) and we got away with it. I also think our wingers are a bit more tentative at the back when He's on.
It feels like he may be there in case were struggling and were behind - And I wouldn't feel comfortable bringing him on if the game was tight last 20.

I'd have picked Hamlin last week and would again this week
Bateman could go to centre - Leaving Sarge to cover if needed

However trust in Wane and either way I don't think it will change the outcome.'"

Im with you on this one Jukes and will be surprised if Escare gets a spot on the bench tomorrow irrespective of the weather.
Hamlin gives a bit of urgency to our play and his quick ptbs can get us on a roll.

There are a lot of unsavoury Wire fans coming out on the VT and they reminded me of a user on here who has a lot of bitter quotes from Wire fans, can anyone remember who it is? The quotes are along the lines of "you Wiganers only come out when you winning blah blah"..."love to see you crying..."?

Given the contribution from Escare last week, we didn't miss him. I would much rather have the additional work rate of Hamlin in the middle.

There's history to be made no matter what.
That would be the last thing on my mind

You are probably right, you look at the front row initially and think we are outgunned but our back row and bench is much stronger on paper.

Rumours flying around quite a few social media forums that Manfredi is out having pulled up in training. Anyone heard anything ?

I’ve read that rumour but know nothing about it. I’m keeping everything crossed it’s not true because that really would be tough for the lad to take.

That would be pretty devastating for him if true, even if it’s something minor that will only keep him out of one game. It dent our hopes for tomorrow as he has looked good since returning and we would have to shuffle the backline in his absence.

Choice would be Escare on the wing or Bateman centre with Gildart wing and Faz in to start.

It would be the latter I guess but let’s hope it’s not true.

I've seen nothing concrete but it's been floating round all day. He's been solid since his return and would be be a huge loss let alone for the poor lad missing out after going through so much already. Fingers crossed it's just rumour

I am going for starting power in wet condition. Big strong centres to take them by surprise then bring on faster more mobile forward and Tommy to run them off the park.

Sarginson
Manfredi
Bateman
Greenwood
Gildart
Tomkins
Williams
Clubb
Powell
Flower
Farrell
Tautai
O'Loughlin

Tommy
Naverette
Sutton
Hamlin
