Why? I thought the idea was that you'd enhance your corporate standing. Surely less competition would make more sense.

| Any chance it might be the Easter Monday game with HKR as the DW is double booked on that day .
If not any word on what's happening on Easter Monday ?

Emailed the club some weeks ago re Easter Monday, no reply as yet.
Interestingly news story on club website today re extending deadline for season ticket renewal has changed the wording " Warriors Season Tickets for the 2016 campaign include all of the Warriors home matches during the
regular season and Super 8s stage." the DW wording has been dropped.

Millwall are at home to Burton Albion on Easter Monday.
Bolton are not playing at home on Easter Monday, and I believe they are in need of a few quid...

If you don't bother to go to the game when you live in the locality then you are not really a fan and therefore your views are invalid. It's simple.:icons39ad_files/4821-1859san_c-msnicons.jpg |

I see you point, just don't think that our fans should be taken advantage of... And i feel they are.

For what it's worth I agree, I didn't go to millwall last year and I won't be going to wherever they play this years, the club won't listen therefore I vote with my feet.

| I'm dead against taking a game on the road. Millwall was a dreadful venue and having to get up at 6.00am on a Saturday to get to a match isn't my idea of fun. Ordinary fans like me are kind of taken for granted.
However I swallowed the arguments put forward by IL, and deferred to his better judgement. I thought that getting a sponsor from a leading company might be one outcome of taking a game to London. That hasn't materialised.
It kind of makes sense to play Catalans in London. But good luck trying to entice fans of Salford or Wakey to Millwall. They can't even be bothered coming to the DW.

Not quite a leading company, but it is only the first year of the event.
I'm not fully sold on the idea, but willing to give it a chance. If we're still playing at Millwall in front of 8,000 in a couple of years then it hasn't worked. On the other hand if it grows there could be big benefits to wigan an rl in general.

| Frankly I think the chances of landing a big-time sponsor (remote) are still considerably better than the hope of attracting large crowds to watch league in Millwall. I'd love to be wrong (really!), but I just can't see it.

A quick check of the two directors named reveals an interest in certain other companies. One -
BST (Power) UK was started in Nov 2013 and dissolved on December 1st 2015 and the other -
Greenplan Electronics started in September 2014 from the same address in Fitzroy Sqare, London. This coincidentally, is Lite-Plan's HQ address.
Liteplan also sponsor the London Electrical Engineers Golf Society of which Peter Ray (Managing Director of Liteplan) is the current Captain.
They seem to be involved in a company called Morpheus Integrated Technologies Ltd (Directors Peter and Stephen Ray) also known as MITTEC.
They have also been involved as Directors of the following -
Mobile motors.tv (turnover between £1,000-£3,000)
Communicate Solutions Ltd (which doesn't appear to be trading)
Ascendent Holdings Ltd (which doesn't appear to have traded since 2007)
I must admit I half expected to come across a certain R&DB Trotter Ltd (but maybe I am being unkind to these fellows who appear to be very busy lads indeed)
Anyway that's what is behind the logo on the arm of your replica shirts. The 'Lite-Plan' logo.
Are they worth sending coach loads of us down to Millwall for - you decide.
